The house is a 1950s era colonial style home in the Vedado
section of Havana. We occupy the upper half of the house and
have, over a period of years, fully restored the interior to its
original condition. The kitchen and bathrooms have also
been upgraded with modern conveniences and
air conditioning units added to three of four bedrooms (the three
available for rent). One of the bedrooms features a private bath
and mini-fridge.
We emphasize that we operate a legal, licensed casa particular. When
entering the country, all you have to do is present the immigration agent
our address and perhaps any correspondence from us. (This is the
advantage of a legal casa. Otherwise they may
force you to reserve a hotel room -- at the highest rate of course.)
